Joel Farley, PhD
Joel Farley, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Dr. Farley has expertise analyzing claims data from secondary data sources including Medicaid claims data, private health insurance claims, and the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey. He has published a wide range of papers related to assessment of pharmaceutical policy changes and epidemiologic outcomes in vulnerable patient populations. Dr. Farley is a registered pharmacist who earned his BS in pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and his PhD in Social, Administrative, and Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota.
