Jeffrey Brown, PhD
Jeffrey Brown, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Population Medicine (DPM) at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. He is research director of the Therapeutics Research and Infectious Disease program at DPM and director of scientific operations for the FDA’s Mini-Sentinel project. He is an expert in health policy, health economics, pharmacoepidemiology, and outcomes research. Dr. Brown has received several awards, including a Doctoral Training Fellowship from the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research, an Exceptional Reviewer Award (2004-2005) from Medical Care and Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety, and an award for the best paper published in Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety. Currently, his research focuses on multisite pharmacoepidemiology research using large administrative data systems.
