Fifth Annual Chapel Hill Drug Conference
The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy will host the Fifth Annual Chapel Hill Drug Conference on May 13 to 14, 2010, in Kerr Hall on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The conference’s theme is “Tools and Techniques for Solving Clinical Dilemmas: The Role of Translational Research.”
We expect approximately 100 attendees from academia, industry, and regulatory agencies. The conference will offer education experiences of the highest quality, opportunities to create collaborative partnerships, and valuable mentorship for the next generation of students and trainees preparing to address the health care needs of North Carolina and the world.
The conference will feature eleven invited speakers, exhibits and poster sessions, and a reception on the evening of May 13. Carl Peck, MD, former director of the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, will deliver this year’s keynote address, titled “History, Opportunities, and Future Challenges for Quantitative Pharmacology.” See the program for more details, or download the conference brochure.
Interested attendees can earn up to 7.25 hours of continuing education credit for this knowledge-based activity. The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
