A Tour of the Genetic Medicine Building

In early 2005, the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and the School of Medicine broke ground on a new, 300,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art research facility. The Genetic Medicine Building, completed in 2008, is located off Mason Farm Road, just east of the Environmental Protection Agency building.
Researchers in the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy occupy approximately 75,000 square feet of laboratory space on the first and second floors, allowing them to work closely with their colleagues in Medicine and giving Pharmacy a strong presence in the heart of Carolina’s health sciences campus.
