DPOP 899 is a 1-credit hour required course aimed at helping graduate students develop necessary teaching, research, and professional development skills. The course is offered in the Fall and Spring semesters to graduate students in DPOP and interested students from other Departments.  Graduate students in DPOP are required to complete 4 consecutive semesters of DPOP 899, beginning in their first year (for a total of four credit hours).   The Spring 2008 semester is our Professional Development Series: faculty will lead presentations designed to help students develop important professional skills and guest speakers will meet with students to discuss career opportunities.
