The Center provides faculty with access to a technologist from UNC's SILS program who can assist in the development of small technology-based projects to facilitate active learning goals. This is service if free to SoP faculty. All projects require an application to help prioritize projects. The application can be found here.
The following services are available through the Center on a fee basis. These services help support the Center's functions and are offered to help assist faculty including the development of Continuing Education. Please click the appropriate category for more information and pricing.

The Center has a large format, colored printer equipped with 42" heavy weight, glossy paper. The cost breakdown for a poster is:
The Center can print flyers or signs on our HP LaserJet 5500 dtn. This color printer is capable of printing on page sizes up to 11 x 17 (tabloid) and up to a paper weight of 52 lbs (regular printer paper is 20 or 22 lb paper). The Center's newsletter is printed on 32 lb paper. The cost for printing documents on this printer is $0.25 a copy with a minimum charge of $5.00 per order. These prices cover the cost of paper, ink, and maintenance.
The multimedia design resources at the Center can be used for non-instructional purposes and for Continuing Education projects. These projects will be given the lowest priority and charged on an hourly basis with a minimal charge of 1 hour of work. Costs for this service is pending based on current market price (current price is $50/hour). These projects also will go through an application process to help establish goals and estimate time required to complete the project.
