Xiao Leads New UNC Wellstone Center Project

Xiao Xiao, PhD, Fred Eshelman Distinguished Professor of Gene Therapy, will head one of three projects that's part of a five-year, $7 million grant to establish a muscular dystrophy research center at UNC.  READ MORE

Researchers at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy have created a list of prescription drugs that increase the risk of falling for patients aged sixty-five and older who take four or more medications on a regular basis.  READ MORE

 

IPIT Adds Auman to Research Team

Todd Auman, PhD, has joined the UNC Institute for Pharmacogenomics and Individualized Therapy as a member of its research team. Auman, a research assistant professor at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, is an expert in using genomic technologies to understand a patient’s response to gastrointestinal cancer therapy.  READ MORE
