Tammie Davis received her BS in pharmacy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1993. Currently, she is the coordinator for two pharmaceutical care lab courses in the PharmD program at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Prior to joining the UNC faculty, she worked in community pharmacy (free clinic, chain, and independent), home infusion, and served as director of the Pharmacy Technician Diploma Program at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, North Carolina. Her areas of interest include pharmacy technician training/certification, medication safety, and health literacy.
