Dr. Koval received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Campbell University School of Pharmacy in May 1994. Following graduation he completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Moses H. Cone Health System in Greensboro, North Carolina then completed a second year of Primary Care residency training in St. Louis, Missouri. He returned to Greensboro in 1996. His current position is Associate Clinical Professor UNC School of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Greensboro Area Health Education Center (AHEC), and the Moses Cone Family Practice Center. His practice includes a variety of chronic disease management including smoking cessation. Dr. Koval has been Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy since 1998.
