Dr. Huang received his PhD in biophysics at Michigan State University. He was previously at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (1976 – 1991) and at the University of Pittsburgh (1991 – 2005) as a faculty member. In July 2005, he was appointed Fred Eshelman Distinguished Professor and Chair, Division of Molecular Pharmaceutics at UNC School of Pharmacy. He has published over 280 peer-reviewed articles, over 100 invited reviews/book chapters, and has co-edited two books.
