Biography:

As Director of the Office of Experiential Education, Kim Leadon directs the Professional Experience Program and oversees the clerkship management, placement and evaluative processes for all students. Ms. Leadon is responsible for approximately 1,150 student clerkship months each year. Additionally, she directs the preceptor development and training program. Prior to joining the faculty in July 2000, Ms. Leadon directed several large programs at the Wake AHEC in Raleigh, North Carolina. As Director of the Office of Regional Primary Care Education, she provided leadership and direction for the interdisciplinary training of health science students in community-based teaching sites. As Director of Continuing Medical Education Program, Ms. Leadon developed, implemented and evaluated all the continuing medical education activities for physicians in a nine-county region.
