Research Interests

Technology that visualizes the behavior of a specific family of enzymes (protein kinases) in living cells. These enzymes have been implicated in a wide variety of disease states, including several forms of cancer. The ability to image the aberrant biochemistry of cells represents an important first step in detecting cancer at its earliest (and therefore most treatable) stage.
