Current Programs
Hospital Residencies
The pharmacy residency program at University of North Carolina Hospitals has trained more than 250 individuals. For 2008, the Department of Pharmacy at UNC Hospitals is offering thirteen residency positions:
- Four pharmacy practice residencies
- Two two-year MS/practice management residencies
- Seven specialty residencies, including cardiology, family medicine, hematology/oncology, infectious diseases, pediatrics, primary care and psychiatry.
Community Pharmacy Residency Program
The UNC Community Pharmacy Residency Program is an accredited, twelve-month postgraduate learning opportunity. With guidance from the preceptor, the resident can be a partner in initiating new programs and can expand or enhance existing services in a community pharmacy environment.
