Admissions: PhD
The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy offers graduate curricula leading to the doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree in pharmaceutical sciences. Graduate study in the School may be concentrated in:
- Medicinal Chemistry and Natural Products
- Molecular Pharmaceutics
- Pharmacotherapy and Experimental Therapeutics
- Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy
Students are admitted to the UNC PhD program after they have completed an undergraduate degree and have met the criteria for admission as set forth by the UNC Graduate School.
Applicants who have completed a standard collegiate curriculum in pharmacy, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, zoology, or in an allied field in the University, or in other universities or colleges having curricula acceptable to the UNC Graduate School, are eligible for admission to the School of Pharmacy graduate program.
