Enrolling in the UNC-ECSU PharmD Partnership Program

The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy enrolls ten to fifteen students each year at Elizabeth City State University through a partnership program between the two universities. The admission criteria for the Chapel Hill campus and the ECSU campus are the same. The online supplemental application form will ask you to specify the campus you prefer.

Transferring from another school of pharmacy

Students often ask if they can transfer from another pharmacy school to the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. While it is possible, it rarely happens. Transfer students must compete for admission along with our entire applicant pool. We can only consider transfer students who are currently in good academic standing at their current school of pharmacy

Students who wish to transfer to the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy must complete and submit the online supplemental application by March 1 prior to the fall in which they are seeking admission. All additional paperwork, including the signature sheet, application fee, two letters of recommendation and official college transcripts must be postmarked by March 1. Please call the Office of Student Services at 919-966-9429 for more information.
