LEADership Academy

The LEADership Academy at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy is a new approach to developing the next generation of pharmacy leaders. We are working to increase and sustain engagement with prospective students from around the country through three innovative programs:

• The LEADership Academy Professional Development Series: This monthly program offers seminars, academic-enrichment classes, working lunches, and networking opportunities.
• The LEADership Academy Mentoring Program: Each prospective student is teamed up with one of our current PharmD students in monthly activities that build a mentoring partnership focused on engagement, career exploration, and teamwork.
• The Educators’ LEADership Academy: This outreach effort is geared toward equipping high school administrators and teachers with a variety of materials and information that will significantly increase their ability to share pharmacy career opportunities with their students.
