I want to add online components to my School of Pharmacy course. Who should I contact to learn more about this?
Send an email to ITSOP@unc.edu to request a consultation. Examples of instructional materials we can help you develop include: online case studies, interactive tutorials, digital image collections, narrated slide presentations, online forms, and web pages.
I want to learn how to use Blackboard. Is there someone at the School of Pharmacy who can help me?
If you want to learn how to use Blackboard or need assistance with some of Blackboard’s tools, send an email request to ITSOP@unc.edu specifying the type of assistance needed. You can also visit help.unc.edu for a list of Blackboard FAQs.
I’m having trouble with my Blackboard course. Who should I contact?
We can provide limited Blackboard support here at the School of Pharmacy. Most help requests should be submitted from the help.unc.edu site using the online help request form
(https://www.unc.edu/ar-bin/websub/index.pl) or by calling 962-HELP. Your request will be forwarded to the campus Blackboard support personnel who will contact you within a short amount of time to help you solve the problem.
Is there someone who can show me how to use the technology in the Kerr classrooms?
The IT staff can give you a tour of the technology features available in the Kerr classrooms and demonstrate how to use them. Simply send a request to ITSOP@unc.edu.
I heard that we videoconference from the School of Pharmacy? Can I set up a videoconference call with my colleagues at another institution?
Kerr 1001, Kerr 2001, Beard 116, Beard 202D, Beard 202E and Beard 102 (available 9/07) are currently equipped for videoconferencing. In addition, we have a mobile videoconference unit which can be used in a smaller classroom or office. Send an email to ITSOP@unc.edu to request the use of this equipment. Someone from the IT staff will be happy to help you set up your videoconference.
