Kerr 2001 is a large lecture hall capable of seating 140 students. There are three projection screens in the front of the room and two projection screens in the back of the room. There are also two plasma screens on the far sides of the front of the room.
Kerr 2001 is designed for content delivery and for some interaction between near and far side. This room should be used for large lecture classes where there is minimal interaction between the instructor and students. There is one touch microphone mounted on the tables for every two students. The microphone works when a student touches the button. The instructor has their choice of a podium microphone or a wireless lapel microphone. There is also a wireless stick microphone for a second presenter or for student announcements.
The type of class delivered in this hall is a large lecture class.
