Rod Galindo has been with the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy since August 2010. He works as the procurement specialist for two major divisions within the school: Molecular Pharmaceutics and Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry. His job duties involve assisting laboratories with the purchase of supplies and maintenance of equipment as well as reimbursement and payment to lab personnel, subcontractors, and consultants for various expenses associated with running a successful research program.

Before coming to the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, he worked on various research projects for laboratories in the fields of cognitive science, consumer research, developmental psychology, public health, marketing, methodology, personality psychology, and statistics that have led to several publications. He also served as a teaching assistant for introductory statistics and clinical psychology courses for undergraduates in the University of California system.

Galindo holds a master of science in quantitative psychology from the University of California, Merced and a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
