Lorna DeWalle joined the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in 2010 as Finance Administrator in the Office of Advancement.  She provides all accounting services to the department, including gift processing, funding requests, financial statement preparation and budgeting. She works closely with the Board of Directors of the Pharmacy Foundation of NC in the administration of the Foundation’s $30 million in assets.  She also provides accounting services to the UNC Pharmacy Alumni Association.

DeWalle received her Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University in Waltham, MA.  Upon graduating, she spent four years in the Boston office of KPMG. DeWalle went on to work in the fields of auditing and accounting in various industries.  She spent three years with ING Group in Amsterdam, where she was responsible for auditing business units in Asia and Australia. DeWalle is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the North Carolina Association of CPAs. She is a member of the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy’s scholarship committee.
